Why go to church?

Bible Studies

Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am is the Men's Breakfast and Bible Study at the Ponderosa Restaurant.

Thursday mornings at 8:00 am is the Women's Breakfast and Bible Study at the Krystal Kafe.

Both of these groups focus on text study of the Gospel, readings, and Psalm of the forthcoming Sunday. Come join us for coffee, tea, your favorite breakfast, and enjoy friendship, fellowship, and a good study.

Join us in the afternoon on Mondays at 1:00 pm for a relaxed Bible study at the home of Donna Gordon on F Street in town. We are doing a study of the book "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanna Weaver. With her fresh approach to the familiar Bible story, the author shows how all of us - Marys and Marthas alike - can draw closer to the Lord, deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy. All are welcome to join us in studying this wonderful book. For more information call Donna Gordon 476-3058 or Ev Olsen 476-5453.

Our monthly supper, short meeting and bible study starts at 5 p.m. at the church. The new study about "The People of God" looks at what unites us and defines us as people of faith. The authors of the study are the Revs. Jensen and Linda Johnson Seyenkulo. All women are invited to participate in this once a month evening bible study.
